Troubleshooting

The app cannot connect

  • Use https://v3.holyshift.ai/mcp, including /mcp.
  • Check that the app supports remote MCP over HTTP and OAuth.
  • Complete sign-in and consent, then return to the app.
  • If a previous connection has expired or been revoked, reconnect.

Opening the server URL directly in a browser can show an authorization error. It is a protocol endpoint; the documentation is at docs.holyshift.ai.

The integration is in preview. If the client still fails, keep the error message and client name when contacting HolyShift support. Do not include access tokens or passwords.

My project is missing

Ask the app to list your projects again. Check that you connected the right HolyShift account and that the project is still shared with it. Open HolyShift to check access.

The answer is taking time

An answer usually takes one to several minutes. Ask the app to check the existing conversation again instead of submitting the same question as a new conversation. New project research and experiments take longer.

If the result is waiting for you, open the supplied conversation link and respond in HolyShift.

A second question is refused

One conversation cannot accept another question while work is queued, running or waiting for your input. Finish that work first, then follow up in the same conversation.

I cannot start an experiment

Check that you own the project, that your plan allows work and that an experiment is waiting for Start. If no experiment exists, starting prepares the first plan; it still waits for you to review and start it.

A step failed

Open the experiment in HolyShift to inspect and retry the step. If you decide to continue without it, you can explicitly ask the connected app to skip that failed step. The experiment records that it did not finish.

My plan or credits block work

Ask the app to check your HolyShift credits, then open Settings → Billing in HolyShift. A failed run should report a reason; it must not be presented as a completed answer.
